Our Activities

The Mission of the Sibelius Society is to maintain and advance the heritage of Jean Sibelius and his music.

The society fulfills its mission though several distinct goals; by publishing the complete critical edition of Jean Sibelius Works together with the Finnish National Library and Breitkopf & Härtel; by organising the International Jean Sibelius violin competition every five years; by arranging the international Sibelius conference and by organising events and excursions for its members and cooperating with international Sibelius societies around the globe.
